  • UNITY GARDEN PLANTING DAY

    BIG NEWS, BOULEVARD PARK!

We are excited to announce that the Boulevard Park Improvement Association has been awarded a $1,000 grant from Unity Gardens of Anne Arundel County to create a beautiful native garden right here at our community park!

But we can't do it without YOU!

    PLANTING DAY: Sunday, September 20th
    Rain Date: Saturday, October 17th

We will need plenty of volunteers before planting day to help prepare the garden area, and then an enthusiastic crew on planting day to get all those plants in the ground!

Green thumb? Help us prep the garden area and get those plants in the ground!

Not a gardener? No problem! We’ll need plenty of helping hands for clearing, hauling, digging, spreading, watering, and general garden-making goodness.

Really not a dirt-under-your-fingernails kind of person? We’ve got you covered! We’ll need volunteers to help provide water, snacks, and refreshments for our hard-working prep and planting crews.

This is a wonderful opportunity to reclaim and beautify our community grounds, create habitat for pollinators and wildlife, and leave something beautiful for our neighbors to enjoy for years to come.

Let's show what the Boulevard Park community can accomplish when we all pitch in!

More details and volunteer opportunities will be coming soon! Keep an eye out and come be part of making our community park bloom!

A HUGE thank-you to Unity Gardens, Watershed Stewards Academy, and Native Solutions for helping make this project possible! We are so grateful for their support of our community.

  • SAVE OUR TREES COMMUNITY EVENT

BPIA is teaming up with the Anne Arundel County Watershed Stewards Academy for a fun and meaningful Save Our Trees event at the community park!

POSTPONED until the Fall - stay tuned for a new date & time!!

Join your neighbors for a morning of teamwork, fresh air, and community spirit as we work together to protect our beautiful canopy trees and wildlife habitat. Members of the WSA Save Our Trees team will be on-site with tools, guidance, and expertise to help us tackle invasive vines threatening our park.

Bring your work gloves and be ready to dig in, cut and pull vines, and make a real difference! Some tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite gardening tools too.

Prefer to stay clean? We’ve got a place for you too! We’ll also need volunteers at the clubhouse to help keep snacks stocked, water bottles filled, and our hardworking crew refreshed and energized.

There will be information available about the Watershed Stewards Academy, plus activities for the kids—so bring the whole family!

This is a great chance to meet your neighbors, give back to the community, and help keep our park beautiful for everyone to enjoy.

We hope to see you there!
